Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To perform accurate learning of a half clutch position without being influenced by a load and to always provide smooth and rapid starting operation of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A PID signal Vs added with a delay and controllability of a system by a PID computing part 1-3 is generated as feedback of a clutch position signal Vf to a fed operation signal Va is effected. In addition to the above, when a clutch 3 is disengaged, an operation signal Va changed from Vmin to Vmax at some inclination extent is inputted to a subtracter l-2. The PID signal Vs and the clutch position signal Vf are compared with each other by a comparator 1-7 and a point at which a code of a difference between the PID signal Vs and the clutch position signal Vf is changed is detected. A clutch stroke position at the code change point is learnt as a half clutch position.
