Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To eliminate an error in a total travel distance of a carriage as a whole by obtaining running time in a separating zone to control a running speed of the following carriage, and eliminating zone. CONSTITUTION:In a moving direction of a self-propelled carriage 1, a work zone D where a plurality of sets of the carriages 1 can be simultaneously provided, separating zone E having a length equivalent to one set of the carriage and a conveying zone F where a plurality of sets of the carriages 1 cart be simultaneously provided are successively provided, to move a plurality of sets of the carriages in running at a low speed with an almost fixed intercarriage space in the work and separating zones D, E, and the carriage in running at a predetermined high speed independently in the conveying zone F. A common target value of running time in the separating zone E is left as set to all the carriages 1, and relating to each carriage of running in the separating zone E, the actual running time required for running the separating zone E is obtained, to control a running speed of the following carriage 1 based on this actual running time and the target value of running time in the separating zone E.
