Zusammenfassung:	An engagement mechanism for a magnetic head used with a floppy disk has a wedged-shaped portion that is stamped in a bracket portion of a sheet metal head carriage that engages a drive thread of a feed screw driven by a stepper motor. Engagement is maintained between the wedge-shaped portion and the drive thread of the feed screw by an arm of a torsion spring that is also mounted on the carriage and that engages the feed screw at a location opposite the location of the wedge-shaped element.
