SELF-OCCURING ERROR FACING METHOD OF FAX

The present invention relates to an error confronting method for facsimile unit which solves inconvenience of a user by actively performing the next procedure at a transmitting part with respect to an error that occurs in a receiving part during transmission and reception. This method includes the steps of: transmitting an error report to the transmitting part from the receiving part with respect to its error regardless of the picture quality or line; receiving the error report at the transmitting part and printing it out, and then checking the automatic originating mode recognition; cutting the line if the transmitting part is in automatic originating mode, and entering into an automatic reoriginating mode; and if the transmitting part is in manual originating mode, standing by intervention of an operator for a given period of time.
