Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To make it possible to grasp deterioration degree quantitatively, by judging the deterioration degree from a ratio between the occurring frequency of envelop signals corresponding to the output of an acoustic emission (AE) sensor and the frequency of load applications. CONSTITUTION:The output of an AE sensor 2, which is attached to a roller bearing 1, is processed in an preamplifier 3, an HPF 4, an LPF 5, a main amplifier 6 and an envelop detector circuit 7. A pulse signal outputted from a waveform shaping circuit 8 is supplied. The time interval of the AE signal is counted in a timer counter 9. The occurring frequency of the AE signal is counted in a pulse counter. When the time interval agrees with the time interval of a load which is applied to the roller bearing periodically, deterioration of the bearing 1 is specified. A ratio between the occurring frequency of the AE signal and the frequency of load applications is computed in an information processing circuit 11. The ratio is zero at the normal time and approaches 1 as the deterioration progresses. Thus, the deterioration degree of the bearing can be grasped quantitatively. |
