MULTI-DROP LINE CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To prevent communication efficiency from being reduced even when a terminal equipment with different communication speed is used by providing a communication speed information register in a communication control module and controlling the communication speed between a master station and a slave station according to the preset content. CONSTITUTION:Information representing communication speed corresponding to each slave station is preset in a communication speed information register 16 of a communication control module 2 at first in the process when the power is applied and the operating state is obtained. A control section 11 reads speed information corresponding to an object from the register 16 and sets it to a clock generating section 15, which supplies a clock pulse in matching with the set information to a transmitter/receiver(T/R) 12. The data sent from the master station 1 is fed sequentially to the T/R 12, which converts the data into a serial data of the corresponding speed and the result is sent to the T/R 14. The data is sent sequentially to the line 6 via a MODEM 3 and sent to each slave station via MODEMs 4a-4n. In this case, only, e.g., the slave station 5a selected by the identification information in advance receives the data.
