DRIVER FOR TWO-PHASE AC MOTOR

PURPOSE:To enable shortening a period of time from motor-ON to motor-OFF by providing memories equipped with slow-up data for motor acceleration and with slowdown data for deceleration, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A driver for a two-phase AC motor 6 is equipped with a driving signal source 1, D/A converters 2, 3 and amplifier circuits 4, 5, and said driving signal source 1 comprises an output timing control means 13, memories 14, 15 equipped with motor accelerating slow-up data decelerating slowdown data, and a counter 17 for subtracting data of said memories 14, 15 by a given clock. A required number of slow-up data with a given size according to an acceleration pattern of the motor 6 are set in said memory 14, and each subtracted time signal of said data is given as an address signal of memories 10, 11 to a data output means 12 at the time of starting. At the time of deceleration, each subtracted time signal of data of said memory 15 is given as an address signal of said memories 10, 11 to the data output means 12.
