OPERATOR DEVICE FOR WINDOW

PURPOSE: To open and close a ventilating window or the like and to hold it open or closed by means of a simple structure and through easy operations by rotating a drive shaft for actuating a latch device and a window recovery device having a geared tape. CONSTITUTION: When a window 1 is closed, it is surely held closed by engagement between a hook 5 and the pin 6"' of a latch bolt 6. Sliding of a drive shaft 9 through the operation. of a handle causes a coupler 10 to rotate the latch bolt 6 to disengage a latch device. Further, two bevel gears 16, 17 are also disengaged and a sprocket wheel 12 is freed to allow the window 1 to open or close freely, the window 1 being opened by means of a spring damper or gas damper, etc. Rotation of the drive shaft 9 after opening of the window 1 causes the sprocket wheel 12 to draw in a geared tape 11 to close the window 1.
