CELESTIAL MOTION MODEL TYPE LABORATORY APPARATUS

PURPOSE: To provide a device having a simple and inexpensive mechanism and simple in handling by rotating an artificial globe sphere together with its rotation axis in accordance with its revolution and covering an artificial solar electric bulb and the globe sphere with a transparent semisphere having a radius larger than the revolution radius of the globe sphere. CONSTITUTION: When a V pulley 7 is rotated by a hand-working handle 9 and a V pulley 5 is rotated through a V belt 8, a horizontal arm 12 integrally coupled with the V pulley 5 through a coupling frame 25 is rotated and the artificial globe sphere 19 fixed to the tip of the arm 12 can be revoluted around the artificial solar electric bulb 11. When the arm 12 is rotated around a main erected shaft 3, a bevel gear 21 fixed on one end of a speed change gear 20 coupled with the arm 12 is rotated on a bevel gear 22 engaged with the shaft 3. The rotation of the gear 21 is accelerated by the gear 20 and transmitted to a rotation shaft 18 through a flexible shaft 23 and the globe sphere 19 rotates around itself. Consequently, the simple model experimentation device is obtained.
