CRT PRINTER

PURPOSE:To form a high quality image on a photosensitive sheet, by scanning the image data in a frame memory, which has capacity specific-times the number of the pixels of a CRT, by the CRT. CONSTITUTION:Image data of R is stored in a frame memory M1 and image data of G is stored in a frame memory M2 while image data of B is stored in a frame memory M3. Since the number of the pixels of the frame memories M1, M2, M3 have capacity n-times those of a CRT 7, image data are read on every (n-1) in a line direction at every R, G and B and, corresponding thereto, a photosensitive sheet is shifted by 1/n the pitch (d) of a scanning line to perform exposure n-times at every B, G and B to form an image on the photosensitive sheet. Therefore, an image having high resolving power can be formed even when a CRT having usual resolving power is used.
