Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To improve the lubricity and wear resistance of a magnetic layer by incorporating an inorg. compd. which is mixed and deposited with a water repellent interlayer compd. and is specified in grain size into a magnetic layer. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic layer contg. the inorg. compd. which is mixed and deposited with the water repellent interlayer compd. and has >=100nm grain size is formed on a base. The water repellent interlayer compd. is exemplified by fluorinated graphite and the inorg. compd. of >=100nm grain size to be used is exemplified by reinforcing carbon, chromium oxide, etc. These compds. are put into a mixer having a high-speed stirring function such as, for example, a Henschel mixer and are stirred and mixed, by which the mixture exhibiting the behavior as if the behavior of substantially one compd. is obtd. Since the inorg. compd. fixed and deposited with such water repellent interlayer compd. has extremely good water repellency and lubricity, the lubricity and wear resistance of the magnetic layer are improved.
