PURPOSE:To provide an air ventilation device having a rotary type heat exchanger which is preferable for being mounted on a ceiling or behind thereof by a method wherein the first and second blowing units and a heat exchanger unit are removably supported at a frame, and the partition walls of the first and second air blowing units and the heat exchanger are abutted against each other. CONSTITUTION:The first, second air blowing units 9, 10 and the heat exchanger unit 11 have common partition walls 15, 16, 17 and 18 partitioning within the frame 1 into the first flow passage 13 and the second flow passage 14. In case that the air ventilation device is to be mounted, at first only the frame 1 is fixed to the desired position and then each of the first air blowing unit 9, second air blowing unit 10 and heat exchanger unit 11 is installed at the frame 1, resulting in that the first flow passage 13 and the second flow passage 14 are formed. Even in case of a maintenance operation, each of the heat exchanger unit 11, the first and second air blowing units 9 and 10 can be removed from the frame 1. Therefore, in both cases, it is made possible to perform the maintenance operation without handling heavy pieces.
