Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To connect high-tensile steel tubular piles by welding by a method in which the joints of a preceding steel tubular pile and a succeeding steel tubular pile are shaped into a faucet joint form having a beveling on its outside contact face, they are connected and the bevelings are welded, and a cylindrical sleeve is welded to the periphery of the weld. CONSTITUTION:The faucet joints with bevelings 18 of a preceding steel tubular pile 15 and a succeeding steel tubular pile 17 are fitted with each other and integrally welded wholly. A cylindrical sleeve metal of a inside diameter greater than the outside diameter of the piles 15 and 17 is loosely covered on the joints and fixed to the piles 15 and 17 by welding. High-tensile steel tubular piles can thus be connected without deviation of their centers.
