SLIDE DOOR DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain a railway-vehicle through-passage slide door with a simple structure and without having a projecting member out of a vehicle by providing door projecting mechanisms by means of parallel links on the top and bottom of a door opening part and providing a slidable, self-expandable type horizontally moving mechanism on a projecting link supporting frame. CONSTITUTION:Each door projecting mechanism consisting of a supporting frame 4, parallel links 7, 8, and a link supporting frame 5 is provided on the top and bottom positions of the opening part for a slide door 2 on a vehicle body end wall part installed on the through passage of a railway vehicle, and the door 2 is projected in parallel out of the vehicle body more than its own thickness. A self-expandable horizontally moving mechanism 6 in which fixed rails and slide rails are telescopically placed in three stages to enable the door 2 to slide is provided on the link supporting frame 5. Also, a lock pin 11 is provided on one link 7 of the parallel links to lock the door projecting mechanism. Thereby, a railway-vehicle through-passage slide door with a simple structure and without having a projecting member out of a vehicle can be obtained.
