Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To confirm the faulty air compressor rapidly and accurately by providing a pneumatic system in which a motor-driven air compressor is connected to a source air reservoir via a check valve on each vehicle and detecting the air pressure in the discharge part of the compressor and in an air pipe on the lower course side of the source air reservoir and inputting them into an operating device. CONSTITUTION:Motor-driven air compressors 1a, 1b are provided on vehicles and connected to source air reservoirs 2a, 2b via check valves 3a, 3b respectively, to provide pneumatic system for opening/closing doors and operating brakes. The air pressures between the discharge part of the compressors 1a, 1b and the check valves 3a, 3b and the air pressure in air pipes on the lower course sides of the source air reservoirs 2a, 2b are detected via pressure switches 3a, 3b, 5a, 5b and inputted into detecting devices 6a, 6b respectively. By grasping the behavior of each detected value, if, e.g., air pressure in a specific place is reduced without rising even after the lapse of a defined time, judgement is formed to be failure, which is indicated on a failure indicating device 1 while giving warning. Thereby, the vehicle in which the pneumatic system is faulty can be monitored rapidly and accurately.
