AUTOMATIC STANDING-BY TRASH CONTAINER DUMPING APPARATUS IN TRASH COLLECTING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To improve the feasibility of the above-captioned apparatus in medium and high residential buildings or the like by housing trash containers three- dimensionally, pushing out and dumping them into a dumping port when the absence of trash container in a vertical transfer pipe is detected. CONSTITUTION:Trash containers 5 are mounted sequentially on lift plates 21a-21e of a stocking mechanism 16 and temporarily received thereon. When the absence of other trash containers in a vertical transfer pipe 2 is confirmed by a sensor 18, a dumping drive unit 28 is operated to withdraw a push plate 27 so that a third lift plate 21c is lifted to a position where the trash container 5 is aligned with a dumping port 6. Then, said unit 28 operates the push plate 27 to dump the container 5 on the third lift plate 21c. Next, the lift plate 21c retreats above and the next lift plate 21d together with the container 5 is lifted and dumped. Thus, a dumper of container need not wait until the container can be dumped so that the feasibility of apparatus can be improved.
