Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To reduce weight and to provide excellent durability and a vibration isolating effect, by a method wherein two frame materials are formed by engineering plastic and a composite material using the plastic and a composite material in which the outer periphery of a metallic frame is covered with resin. CONSTITUTION:A vibration insulating device A is formed with a pair of frame materials 1 and 2 and an airtight sheet 4, the two frame materials 1 and 2 are formed by engineering plastic, e.g. FRP, and a composite material using the plastic and a composite material in which the outer periphery of a metallic frame is covered with resin, and the vibration insulating device is manufactured by integral molding effected by extrusion molding and die molding. Mounting grooves 3 are formed in the whole peripheries of the two frame materials 1 and 2, both ends of the airtight sheet 4 are inserted in the mounting grooves 3, and a packing 6 is disposed to the end part of the airtight sheet 4. For example, when the vibration insulating device A is mounted to air conditioning equipment 9, e.g. an air conditioner, for the use, the frame material is prevented from corrosion due to dew condensation owing to a temperature difference between the inside and the outside during operation, excellent durability is provided, the whole of the vibration insulating device is decreased in weight since it is formed by a composite material, and a high vibration isolating effect is demonstrated.
