Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To miniaturize a device so as to reduce cost by fillings gaps between heat transfer elements with metal hydride. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of thin plate-type, hollow heat transfer elements 14 are provided in a row inside the body of a hydrogen storage container 11, and gaps between the heat transfer elements 14 are filled with metal hydride 15. In this case, since the metal hydride 15 has a large heating area as well as a thin layer, effective thermal transmissibility increases so that effective heating and cooling can be carried out. Consequently, the required amount of the metal hydride is decreased, so the device can be miniaturized and its cost can be reduced. |
