PICTURE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To simply and easily obtain a printed picture of high quality by the use of a half tone by controlling the lighting time of a picture element according to half tone level data corresponding to the picture element and forming the picture. CONSTITUTION:Gradation data corresponding to the picture element of the four bits or the like of printed data is inputted to a comparison circuit 4 via a four bit latch circuit 2 and it coincides with the counted value of a counter 7 for counting a clock, and then, a coincidence signal is outputted to reset a FF 10. The turn on time of a transistor 12 for controlling the lighting time of an LED through a buffer 11 is controlled to form the picture according to the half tone level data corresponding to the picture element. Consequently, the printed picture of high quality is formed simply and easily by the use of the half tone.
