Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To prevent the fall of magnetic powder when a display device is inclined by installing a transparent substrate and a substrate formed with a superconductor film apart a spacing formed therebween and sealing fluid contg. the magnetic powder coated with colors varying according to an N pole and an S pole into the spacing. CONSTITUTION: The transparent substrate 1 and the substrate 4 formed with the superconductor film 7 are installed apart the spacing formed therebetween and the fluid contg. the magnetic powder 9 coated with the colors varying according to the N pole and the S pole is sealed into the spacing. When an input pen 5 is pressed to the substrate 1, a pen axis is displaced and a switch 12 is automatically closed. A current, then, flows to a superconducting coil 13 and a magnetic flux is generated. The electrode direction of a battery 14 is so selected that the magnetic flux is reversed from the magnetic flux of the magnetic powder 9. When the magnetic flux of the input pen 5 exceeds the magnetic flux of the magnetic powder 9, the magnetic powder 9 rotates in liquid 8 and changes to another coated surface 11. Namely, when the surface of the substrate 1 is written with the input pen 5, the magnetic powder 9 of the rear surface thereof rotates and a character is written. As a result, the long-term preservation of the record is made possible.
