DATA SETTER FOR VENDING MACHINE

PURPOSE: To shorten the data setting time and to reduce the cost by providing a memory card and a data setting device which can be used in common among plural automatic vending machines in order to set and change the data. CONSTITUTION: A memory card 9 previously stores fixed set data (the set data to have not to be chanted at the installation place of an automatic vending machine 1) for every device type code of the machine 1. The device type code of the machine 1 is designated via a keyboard 101A, and the card 9 is read by a data setting device 4 via a memory card interface 8. Then, the fixed set data are sent to the machine 1. On the other hand, the variable set data (the set data on prices, etc., to be changed at the installation place of the machine 1) are inputted to the device 4 via the keyboard 101A and then sent to the machine 1. In such a constitution, the data setting time is shortened and the cost is reduced for the machine 1 since no data setting keyboard is needed for every machine 1.
