Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To rapidly change the composition of a plating path and to reclaim the present plating bath, by drawing up the present plating bath by means of a metallic pump and then allowing a new plating bath to flow into a plating tank from a melting pot located in a standby position. CONSTITUTION:A metal 1 is melted in a melting pot 2 in working space II, which is conveyed to working space I according to the drawing up of a plating bath from a plating tank 3. The present plating bath 4 in the plating tank 3 is drawn up by means of a metallic pump 5 and held in a discharge ladle 6 filled with inert gas. Simultaneously with the conclusion of the above drawing up, a new plating bath 7 in the melting pot 2a conveyed to a pouring position is supplied in the form of a pouring stream surrounded with the inert gas into the plating tank 3. The present plating bath 4 held in the discharge ladle 6 is transferred into the working space II, where this bath 4 is subjected to component regulation and is then poured into a mold 8 and solidified so as to be formed into a regenerated metal 9. By this method, the oxidation of the new plating bath 7 can be prevented and also the generation of dross, etc., in the plating tank 3 can be prevented.
