Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To extremely readily obtain the titled composition, dissolved in triallyl isocyanurate and suitable as a crosslinking agent for rubber, etc., by thermally polymerizing triallyl isocyanurate in the presence of molecular oxygen and terminating the polymerization. CONSTITUTION:Triallyl isocyanurate is partially polymerized (preferably until the polymerization rate attains >=5%) in the presence of molecular oxygen by heating at >=100 deg.C and the polymerization is then terminated (preferably before the reaction solution gels or polymerization rate attains 35%) to afford the aimed composition containing the triallyl isocyanurate polymer dissolved in the triallyl isocyanurate. Furthermore, the polymerization reaction is preferably advanced while introducing an oxygen-containing gas into the reaction solution and the feed of the oxygen-containing gas is stopped when the polymerization rate attains a given value. The reaction solution is preferably cooled to terminate the polymerization reaction. |
