Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To automatically detect the generation of a defective part by sliding an ejector by following the movement of the work moving to a center cut position and judging the presence or absence of the charging of a work to a center cutting die. CONSTITUTION:The work 5 charged into a center cutting die 3 is subjected to center cutting with the left directional movement of a punch 8. At this time, an ejector sleeve 6 and ejector rod 14 are also moved in the left direction by interlocking with the work 5 and a sensor 12 is turned ON by its contact with a dog 13. But in case of no work 5 being charged in the center cutting die 3, the sensor 12 remains as it is OFF. A controller 16 therefore judges that no work 5 is charged in the center cutting die 3 by discriminating with an end stock cut timing based on this OFF signal, outputting the signal of the equipment stoppage for example. Since the sensor 12 remains as it is in ON state with its contact with the dog 13 after the center cutting, the end face of an ejector 4 is made coincident with the upper face of a die 2 approximately with the right directional movement of an ejector lever 15 and the sensor 12 is made in OFF state.
