MANUFACTURE OF ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE BODY

PURPOSE:To prevent streaking of the surface of a photosensitive drum by grinding it with a roll. CONSTITUTION:Abrasive particles 2 are uniformly stuck to a belt of a synthetic resin film 1 to prepare a grinding film 3, and it is brought into pressure contact with the surface of the photosensitive drum 4 rotated in one direction and its surface is ground by moving the film 3 in one direction and the drum 4 in the axial direction at the same time, thus permitting the always fresh surfaces of the film 3 to be in contact with the surface of the drum 4, accordingly, the surface of the drum 4 to be prevented from streaking, even when the protuberances are cut and pieces are produced, and therefore, all the circumference of the drum 4 to be uniformly ground.
