SLIT ROLLING MILL FOR SHEET MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To reduce the installation cost by arranging a guide having a die for different-leveled holes behind a slit roll and further fitting a set of non- powered vertical rolls consisting respectively of a large and a small diameter behind the guide. CONSTITUTION:The guide 11 having a die for different-leveled holes is provided close by the slit rolls 9 and behind the guide are arranged respectively a vertical roll (a) and a vertical roll (b). The roll (a) consists of a small-diameter roll 14 and a large-diameter roll 15, while the roll (b) consists of a large-diameter roll 18 and a small-diameter roll 19. The rolled stocks 7, 8 which have departed from the slit rolls 9 are guided by the guide upward and downward and rolled in width between the vertical rolls 14, 15 and between the vertical rolls 15, 19. Since intervals between the vertical rolls and the slit rolls are short and the vertical rolls (a), (b) required no power, the installation cost is reduced.
