METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING EXECUTION OF MICROPROGRAM

PURPOSE:To execute the execution control having high flexibility by setting an execution sequence flag, when a branch instruction is not contained in a precedence microprogram, and determining an address of a program to be executed in the next time. CONSTITUTION:A part of an instruction data to an external apparatus, which is held for a prescribed period in a signal input part 4 is fed back selectively by a multiplexer part 1, as a condition input for controlling a program, and used as a flag for a program execution control. That is, a latched modal signal MOD00 of the input part 4 is selected by a data selector of the multiplexer part 1, and supplied to a jump condition (*CC) signal input terminal of a sequencer 21. In case when B has been selected as an address of a program memory in accordance with this flag set value, two programs 1A and 2A are discriminated and executed. After the task B is executed, the sequencer 21 selects one of a task C or C' automatically by referring to a jump condition, and thereafter, executes a task D.
