EXAMPLE:3-(4-Carboxy-1-butenyl)-7-exo-(3alpha-hydroxy-4,4-dimethyl-tra ns-1-nonen-6- inyl)-8-endo-hydroxy-cis-bicyclo[4.3.0]non-2-ene. USE:A circulation improver and antiulcer agent. PREPARATION:The compound of formula can be produced from a lactol com pound of the formula II (R is OH-protecting group) which can be easily pro duced by the reduction of corey lactone.
