Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain the titled molded article having excellent strength, toughness, corrosion resistance and chemical resistance free from deterioration with time, by adding a specific reinforcing agent to a hydraulic substance and molding. CONSTITUTION:A flat plate of a polyolefin (e.g. high-density PE) having tens of thousand-tens of then thousand viscosity-average molecular weight is extracted from the gap of two rolls having the ratio (tr/t0) of the roll gap (tr)/ thickness of the plate (t0) of =15 times the ratio of sectional area, optionally napped mechanically and cut to give a reinforcing material consisting of polyolefin short fibers having 3-50mm length, 0.2-0.8mm diameter, >=30kgf/mm tensile strength and >=1.5X10 kgf/mm tensile modulus of elasticity. Then a hydraulic substance (e.g. Portland cement) is kneaded with the reinforcing material, an aggregate and water, molded and aged to give a fiber reinforced inorganic molded article.
