Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To reduce weight and volume by integrating a catalyst reaction cylinder and a heat exchanger for heat recovery and also to eliminate a connecting tube, divide easily and replace a catalyst simply by securing a flow channel by means of a connecting plate. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 2 is connected with one end of a double cylinder 1 comprising an inner cylinder 1a and an outer cylinder 1b on the same axis by a connecting plate 8. Also, both ends of a catalyst layer 3 filling a cyclic section between the inner cylinder 1a and the outer cylinder 1b are pressed with screens 5 and 6. While at least one of said screens is energized with a spring 7 in the direction to reduce the interval between the screens, a heater 4 is installed inside the inner cylinder 1a. Gas to be treated is guided in order to one of the fluid channels of the heat exchanger 2, the inside of the inner cylinder 1a, said cyclic section and the other of the fluid channels of the heat exchanger 2. In other words, a catalyst reaction cylinder and the heat exchanger for heat recovery are integrated to reduce the weight and volume.
