CARD ISSUING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To safely and quickly issue card by directly inputting data by a customer himself from a customer input means, registering the inputted data in a center file through a line and issuing card. CONSTITUTION: At the time when a customer requires the issue of a card, the customer applies for the issue to a teller through a written application. The teller selects identification(ID) number registering processing with a keyboard 7. At the time, customer data are displayed on a teller display device 6. On the other hand, an ID number input instruction is displayed on a customer display device 3 as guidance. When the customer inputs an ID number from an input operation part 4, the ID number is sent to the center through the line and temporarily registered in a temporary file 17. Then the reinput of the ID number is urged to the customer on the device 3. The customer input the ID number again from the operation part 4. A center side CPU 15 compares the reinputted ID number with the ID number temporarily registered in the file 17, and when both the ID numbers coincide with each other, the ID number is really registered in a file 16. After the end of the registration, a card issuing machine 18 issues a card based upon a teller's input instruction.
