Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To ensure that a unit forward motion be performed with precision by a method wherein responding speeds are quickened by positioning a stator consisting of teeth and grooves linearly juxtaposed opposing magnetic poles whereupon piezoelectric lamination type actuators are fixed. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic material made stator 1 consists of teeth 10 and grooves 11 juxtaposed linearly extending. Magnetic poles 21-24 are positioned opposing the stator 1, inserted in the housing 4 of the travelling unit 2, and are provided with piezoelectric lamination type actuators 3 fixed at the top thereof. The piezoelectric lamination type actuators 3 contract or expand in response to a signal supplied through leads 3', thereby forcing the travelling unit 3 to slide on the stator 1.
