Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the titled chemically stable hardening regulator having superior volume stability by mixing refractory fine powder with an aq. acid soln. so prepd. as to provide a desired pH and by drying the mixture. CONSTITUTION:Refractory fine powder of 1-10mum average particle size such as alumina, mullite or titania powder is mixed with a soln. of an acid such as phosphoric acid or citric acid and water to obtain a slurry having a certain concn. The acid soln. is used by an amt. so calculated as to provide a desired pH. The slurry is stirred until the powder is sufficiently uniformly dispersed and then the slurry is dried to obtain a refractory fine powder hardening regulator adjusted to the desired pH.
