Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To carry out reduction of ferric ions in an always constant state without lowering the rate of reduction by projecting ultrasonic waves when a plating soln. contg. ferrous and ferric ions is poured into a reduction tank packed with granules of iron or other metal to reduce the ions. CONSTITUTION:A reduction tank is packed with granules of iron or a baser metal than iron and a plating soln. contg. Fe and Fe ions is poured into the tank. Ultrasonic waves are projected on the granules to burst air bubbles and to produce impacting force. By this force, hydroxide films formed on the surfaces of the granules are removed so that the granules are brought into contact with Fe ions at all times.
