GENERATING METHOD FOR OXYGEN

PURPOSE:To generate O2 in a stable quantity for a long time in a suitable manner as O2-supplying means, etc., in a transport equipment for alive fish, etc., by decomposing an aq. soln. of H2O2 in the presence of catalyst such as MnO2 by increasing pH stepwise with elapsed time by adding a specified basic substance. CONSTITUTION:The catalyst for O2-generating such as MnO2 is formed into granular catalyst with binder such as shellac or cellulose acetate phthalate and, on the other hand, basic substance such as Na2CO3, Na4SiO4 is formed into granule capable of slowly eluting the basic substance with binder such as shellac or ethylcellulose to obtain the basic substance. After that, pH of the aq. soln. of H2O2 is increased in the presence of the granular catalyst by adding the granular basic substance to elute Na2CO3 with elapsed time and, thereby, the aq. soln. of H2O2 is decomposed to stably generate O2 for a long time.
