Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a card reader/writer by forming a power receiving part and a signal transmitting/receiving part consisting of a magneto-optical coupling on an IC card point-symmetrically or line- symmetrically about the center. CONSTITUTION:The figure shows that a contactless card 10 is inserted and stopped by a card stopper 23. Since a contactless coupling part 11 of the IC card 10 is opposed to a contactless coupling part 26 under said state, power supply from the contactless coupling part 26 is contactlessly executed and the transmission/reception of information is started. In the contactless coupling part 11 of the IC card 10, the power receiving part 12 and the signal transmitting/receiving part 13 are formed line-symmetrically (or point- symmetrically) about the center.
