RAPID EXCHANGE FOUNTAIN DEVICE

PURPOSE: To make a spray unit quickly replaceable and minimize the operation interruption of a labeling machine by placing a clamp plate between base holders, projecting a pair of shoulder bolts from the clamp plate, and feeding a pair of vertical bevel slots through the base holders. CONSTITUTION: A clamp plate 88 has a pair of shoulder bolts 93 projecting from the top end of the plate. Similarly, a pair of shoulder bolts 94 project from the bottom end of the plate. These shoulder bolts 93, 94 are engaged with horizontal bevel slots 95 formed at the tip of upper and lower base holders 96. The clamp plate 88 and a spray support structure mounted on the plate use a toggle clamp 104 for quick replacement of a spray 60. A U-bolt 105 of the toggle clamp 104 is moved leftward and releases a crap 106. With the toggle clamp 104 released, the clamp plate 88 freely moves rightward, and the shoulder bolts are released from bevel slots 95 in base holders 96.
