Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a colorimetry apparatus not to be affected by any polarization component in a measuring luminous flux, by setting a first light receiving means on the optical axis of a projection lens system while second and third light receiving means are arranged off the optical axis. CONSTITUTION:An objective lens 5 forms an image of an object 6 to be measured at the position of a view aperture 7. The image formed at the position of the view aperture 7 is projected on a light receiving plate 9 with a relay lens 8. An opening aperture 10 which is adapted to make light with a fixed solid angle of emergence into the light receiving plate 9 free from focusing of the objective lens 5 is set at a position in conjugation with the light receiving plate 9 pertaining to the relay lens 8 and has a function to make a uniform light incident upon the light receiving plate 9. The arrangement of the opening aperture 10 and the view aperture 7 allows a luminous flux from the object 6 being measured to be incident upon the light receiving plate 9 evenly in a circle determined by the view aperture 7. Light receiving elements 11y, 12z1, 12z2, 13x1 and Bx2 are arranged in a projection area 9a of the light receiving plate 9 to detect three stimulation values X, Y and Z in a CIE display color system.
