DEVICE FOR HOUSING SURPLUS LENGTH OF OPTICAL FIBER JUNCTURE

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of an operation for housing the surplus length of an optical fiber by constituting the titled device in such a manner that a tray is rotated 90 deg. and is positioned in a vertical direction when the tray is fully drawn out transversely via guide pins. CONSTITUTION:The ease of the operation is improved by constituting the device in such a manner that the tray 10 is positioned in the vertical direction (the position of a dotted line) when the tray 10 is fully transversely drawn out. The guide pins 15 are, therefore, provided on the rear side on the side faces of the tray 10 in order to allow the transverse movement and rotation of the tray 10. Guide rails 21 to be fitted and slid with the guide pins 15 are provided on a frame body 20. The guide pins 15 are slid on the guide rails 21. The ray 10 rotates 90 deg. and positions in the vertical direction when the tray 10 is fully drawn out in the transverse direction.
