APPARATUS FOR INDIVISUALIZING AND SUPPLYING ABSORBING BODY OF ABSORBABLE ARTICLE

PURPOSE:To indivisually separate an absorbing body from a raw material without generating entanglement, by rotating a forcible separating belt apparatus to allow each unit absorbing body on a temporary receiving rod to slide by friction force to forcibly separate the same. CONSTITUTION:Unit absorbing bodies IA-IF longitudinally cut by a slitter roll and laterally cut by a guillotine 14 are respectively received temporarily by the temporary receiving rod 24 of a temporary receiving means 20 and the forcible separating belt apparatuses 30A-30F respectively mounted to the upper blade of the guillotine 14 integrally are brought into contact with the unit absorbing bodies IA-IF with the falling of the upper blade of the guillotine 14. Belts 33 are moved to move the unit absorbing bodies brought into contact with the under surfaces of the belts in a horizontal direction by friction force. The moving speeds and moving quantities of the belts 33 are adjusted and, for example, when the speeds Va-Vf are made high from the center to both sides and the moving quantities are made large in the same way, the unit absorbing bodies 1A-1F are allowed to be spaced apart from each other and can be indivisualized. When separation is finished, the temporary receiving rods 24 are retracted and the unit absorbing bodies IA-IF fall to the divided positions between the partition plates 16a, 16a of a feed conveyor 16 as they are.
