MANUFACTURE OF MOLD FOR TIRE

PURPOSE:To contrive simplification of a process by enabling almost completely reappearance and reproduction of a tread design of a regrooved tire on a product tire, by a method wherein the regrooved tire is produced by grooving a groove of a tread design on a smooth tire and a mold is made directly after the same as a master. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of tread designs are drawn, the tread design is grooved on a tread surface of a smooth tire 1, evaluation of various capacities is performed by producing a plurality of regrooved tires 1' and the tire of the most favorable capacity is sorted out. A wax pattern 2 is produced after the sorted out tire 1' as a master. Then molding of a template 3 is performed, an aluminum mold 10' is produced, secondary processing such as chamfering is performed and a mold sector 10 for molding of a product tire is completed. With this construction, reappearance and reproduction of the tread design of the tire (i) can be performed almost completely on the product tire. Moreover, a manufacturing process of a mold can be simplified and shortened.
