In said clamp device of the welding head 1 said movable piece 9 is advanced and retreated by a cylinder 19 and tensile coil spring 11 via the lever 10 in about a chevron shape and the lever 17 engaged therewith. Said cylinder 19 feeds a compressed gaseous body by switching it by a switch 4, strongly clamps by increasing the driving force at a piston rod 16 extension time by a built-in compression coil spring 29 as well and at unclamping time the movable piece 9 is retreated against the elasticity of the spring 29.
