TRANSFER PRESS DEVICE

PURPOSE:To automatically perform the exchange of a work holding member and to improve the working efficiency by forming the storing part of the work holding member on the side face before and behind the transfer direction of a work and providing the supporting mechanism and the turning driving mechanism of the work holding member on a feed bar. CONSTITUTION:A movable fastening member is drawn inside a casing 30 by electrifying an electromagnetic coil 14 and a supporting member 13 is restored elastically to widen a tip part. The tip of the supporting member 13 is engaged with the base part of the work holding member 3 of the inside of the storing box 6 installed on a work 5. Then, the movable fastening member 11 is moved to the external part of a supporting hole 10 with the energizing force of a spring 16 by stopping the electrification of the coil 14. And the tapered face 11a of the member 11 is abutted to the supporting member 13 and elastically deformed inwards to hold the work holding member 3. Feed bars 1, 2 are then moved in Y direction, the work holding member 3 is fetched from the storage box 6 and turned 90 deg. by a turning driving mechanism 20 to make the work in a holdable state. Also, the work holding member 3 is stored in the storage box 5 of the work 5 by the stage reverse to the above-mentioned.
