ELECTROSTATIC COATING EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To prevent reduction of both the surrounding state of coating and the rotational speed of a rotary cup by air by blowing air to a blade provided to the outer peripheral of the rotary cup and compensating both air for surrounding paint and rotation of the rotary cup with this air. CONSTITUTION:A rotary cup 1 is rotated and also paint is fed to an inner cylinder 8 through a paint feed pipe 28 and paint is made to a thin film shape with centrifugal force due to rotation of the cup 1 and discharged from a knife edge part 2 in an atomized state electrified to negative. On the other hand, compressed air fed to the flow path 15 of a rotary axis part 13 is discharged forward through an air blowoff port 3 provided in a range over whole peripheral of the rear edge part of the knife edge part 2. Further when compressed air discharged through air nozzles 26 of air blowing means 5 is allowed to collide against blades 4, rotational force acts on the rotary cup 1 and also even the air passed through the blades 4 can control scattering of coating.
