MANUFACTURE OF SPECTACLE LENS

PURPOSE:To speedily and easily manufacture a spectacle lens of superior quality regardless of whether or not is is colored by forming a worked surface only on one side of a synthetic resin lens and forming hard coat films at least on both surfaces of the synthetic resin lens. CONSTITUTION:The synthetic resin lens 15 is obtained by forming the worked surface 13 as one surface of a lens raw materials 11. A 1st hard coat film 25b formed on the worked surface side of the raw material 11 is removed by polishing, a synthetic resin material is left on the side of the worked surface 13 of the lens 15, and the 1st hard coat film 25a remains on the surface of an unworked surface 17. When the lens 15 needs to be dyed after said process, the lens is dyed while having the worked surface 13 and unworked surface 17 to obtain a uniform dyeing distribution. Then a 2nd hard coat film 27 with uniform film thickness is adhered on the worked surface 13 of the lens 15 and reflection preventive films 21a and 21b are adhered on the surfaces of the films 27 and 25a to complete a spectacle lens 29.
