DIE CLAMPING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To surely execute die clamping by providing a means advancing/ retreating a shifting die plate to a fixed die plate and a means combining and fixing the shifting die plate and the fixed die plate and fixing a tie bar executing the die clamping to the fixed die plate. CONSTITUTION:At the time of supplying hydraulic oil to an oil chamber 168A in a die opening/closing cylinder 166, the shifting die plate 158 is advanced to the fixed die plate 154 side, and the tie bar 164 penetrates a tie bar inserting hole 174 and stops at the position bringing a shifting die 156 into close contact with a fixed die 152. A half nut 180 is fastened at where the die closing completes and then by applying oil hydraulic pressure to the oil chamber 161A side in an oil hydraulic cylinder 160, the half nut 180 is pushed toward left direction with end part 163 of a ram, because a screw 172 and screw part of the half nut 180 are under engaging condition, and the tie bar 164 is stretched caused to develop the die clamping force. As the tie bar 164 is fixed to the fixed die plate 154, scratching of the rod and missing of screw phase are prevented.
