Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain fusing pressure accurately in a short time, by providing a temperature detecting mechanism, whose temperature detecting end is arranged in the high pressure chamber of a high pressure container or in the vicinity thereof, providing a pressure detecting mechanism, whose pressure detecting end is arranged in the high pressure chamber, and providing a pressure lowering mechanism, which decreases the pressure in the high pressure chamber stepwise. CONSTITUTION:A high pressure container 1 is fixed in a constant temperature cell 4 with a fixing member 6. A piston 2 is linked to a hydraulic mechanism 3. The detecting ends of a pressure gage P and a thermometer T1 are arranged in the container 1. The detecting end of a thermometer T2 is arranged in the constant temperature cell 4. A displacement gage 5 is attached to the piston 2. The change in volume of a sample can be detected by the advanced or backed position of the piston. The thermometers T1 and T2, the pressure gage P, the mechanism 3 and the displacement gage 5 are connected to a central control device 7. A control mechanism performing the following functions is assembled in the device 7: the values of the displacement gage 5 and the pressure gage P are read and recorded at a time point when the detected temperature of the thermometer T1 reaches a specified temperature, which is slightly lower than the preset temperature of the constant temperature cell; a signal is sent to the mechanism 3; the piston 2 is backed by a specified amount; and the pressure in the container 1 is automatically decreased by one stage.
