Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To efficiently convert lower hydrocarbons into heavy fraction with excellent catalytic activity and life span of a catalyst, by heat-treating lower hydrocarbons in contact with steam and O2 in the presence of a silica-alumina catalyst to effect oligomerization thereof. CONSTITUTION:A mixed gas of steam and oxygen having an H2O to O2 molar ratio of 50-1/1 is flowed through a silica-alumina catalyst having an SiO2 to Al2O3 ratio of 70/30-90/10 at a contact rate of 1-0.01mol./per wt. of catalyst to effect the contact at, e.g., 600-900 deg.C for a predetermined time to thereby effect the heat treatment, thus providing a catalyst for oligomerization. Lower hydrocarbons such as a gas and a naphtha fraction prepd. by catalytic cracking of a petroleum fraction or a residual oil contg. 2-10C olefinic hydrocarbons and 2-10C aliph. or arom. hydrocarbons are oligomerized under a pressure of 0-50kg/cm at room temp. - 200 deg.C in the presence of the above-mentioned heat-treated catalyst. |
