Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To form a flow in a heating space for combustion production gas in a pattern being as optimum as possible and to prevent the occurrence of uneven heating, by a method wherein, before and behind increase and decrease of a fuel feed amount, the width of a fluctuation in the combustion production gas amount is controlled to a value lower than a specified value of the width of a fluctuation in a fuel feed amount. CONSTITUTION:Before and behind increase and decrease of a fuel feed amount, control is made so that the width of a fluctuation in the combustion production gas amount is adjusted to a value being up to 80% of the width of a fluctuation in a fuel feed amount. A fuel feed amount is regulated through detection of a fuel flow rate by means of a fuel flow rate detecting device 7 and further by a fuel flow rate regulating device 8 and a regulating valve 9. The flow rate of air for combustion and pure oxygen for addition is regulated by guiding a signal from a fuel flow rate detecting device 7 to ratio setters 10 and 10' and by changing the openings of an air flow rate regulating valve 15 and a pure oxygen flow rate regulating valve 16 by means of flow rate regulation command signals from an air flow rate regulating device 13 and a pure oxygen flow rate regulating device 14 on the basis of a deviation between a value obtained by multiplying a fuel flow rate with a predetermined ratio and flow rate signals from an air flow rate detecting device 11 and a pure oxygen flow rate detecting device 12.
