COAXIAL CABLE TAP CONNECTOR

PURPOSE:To enhance the operating easiness by fastening and fixing a coaxial cable, inserted in a receipt groove which opens sideways to the wall surface, by means of advance of a pressing member along the opening direction of the receipt groove with rotation of a screw member fixed to a retaining cover. CONSTITUTION:A receipt groove 20 is formed at a cable mounting part 16 to constitute a connector 10 to be arranged in the vertical direction of the wall surface, wherein the groove 20 is opening in the direction right across the expansion surface of a circuit board 83 installed to a connector base 15 formed in consolidation with the cable mounting part 16, i.e., sideways with respect to the wall surface. A coaxial cable 80 inserted in this receipt groove 20 is fastened and secured by means of advance of a pushing member 12 through rotation of a screwing member 45 installed at a retention cover 13. Accordingly installation of the connector 10 on the wall surface near ceiling does not constitute any inconvenience for rotation of the screwing member 45 installed sideways with respect to the wall surface. This enhances the operating easiness.
